Ferrari's new model - the FXX K [/caption] Ferrari unveiled the stunning FXX K and it's frickin' (get it?) amazing. The hybrid 6.3-liter V12 engine boasts an impressive output of 1,035 horsepower and 50% more downforce than the already impressive LaFerrari. People had predicted that this model would be called LaFerrariXX because that's how the 599XX was named.
It's interesting that Italy's most famous automaker and an established luxury brand would go the route of suggesting the word - Fuck - to its consumers. French Connection popularized the branding of "fcuk" in 1991 and capitalized on its controversial suggestion to sell more product. Is Ferrari trying to do the same?
Ferrari is calling its fastest car ever - the FXX K (the K stands for KERS). So, the full name would be FXX KERS. Very interesting to see how this will play out.
I'm assuming the storied brand is hoping that people will simply be thinking: Fuck! That's fast.
